Making Magic Happen-FOR EVERYONE!

DISNEY WORLD! THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH! It is a place of magic and fun. BUT for a lot of people, it is also a place of TOO HOT, TOO LOUD, TOO MANY PEOPLE, TOO MUCH WAITING, AND GENERALLY JUST TOO MUCH!

Come along with through this post to learn ways to make Disney a possibility for everyone! It is a TON of information, but I suggest reading it in sections and using the information that pertains most to you and your loved ones. There are a lot of resources linked, as well, that will lead you to even more information, tips, and tricks :-)

DAS-DISABILITY ACCESS SERVICE

Check out the video tutorial below to learn more about this service. We would not be able to enjoy Disney without it. In my opinion, it is a MUST to register for to make your trip smoother and more enjoyable.

A few important notes about DAS:

  1. You must register for the service prior to your trip or at Guest Relations upon arrival

  2. DAS selections can only be made once you have entered the park.

  3. It is important to have your app and reservations set for your trip before the video chat. It is also important to add all of your travel party to your app so they can be added to the DAS.

  4. The registered applicant must scan their magic band FIRST upon returning to the lightning lane and then each other person in your party;

  5. You can only have one DAS registration at a time. As soon as you enter the lightning lane and scan your magic band at your return time, you can enter the app to make your next reservation.

*these videos are a bit lengthy so watching them in segments or parts is suggested

A FEW EXTRA TIPS AND MUST HAVES

Must Have Items:

-Fan/Cooling Towel

-Noise Canceling Headphones

-Nametag/ID Bracelet

-Updated Picture of Your Child

-ALL THE SNACKS

-Reusable Water Bottle

-Stroller(for all of your little ones-even the 7 year old needs our double stroller by the end of the day)

Tips:

-If you plan to eat at sit down restaurants at the parks-MAKE DINING RESERVATIONS EARLY-LIKE MONTHS IN ADVANCE!

-If you would like to do a character breakfast, I highly suggest the breakfast at Cape Mays at the Beach Club Resort. It is much calmer and sensory friendly than Chef Mickeys.

-Make sure your child knows who to find in the event of becoming separated from you. Teach them to look for someone with this nametag on.

NOW GO MAKE MAGICAL MEMORIES!
